(Finished September 13th, 2017) themusicaddict's Top 106 Greatest 80's Bands #30 George Michael and Wham Their Best 80's Era Songs Part 1 # 34 to #25

Hello,

This is the first of The Greatest 80's Era blogs I've written since July 23rd. I've been doing a lot of work in being able to post a whole bunch of these countdown blogs over the next little while. Remember I consider the 80's era from 1977 to 1993.

This blog is the countdown blog for my # 30 Greatest 80s Bands for George Michael and Wham. I decided to combine both together as by themselves they wouldn't be as high as #30. George Michael was a great solo artist and he was also the heart of Wham! (Yeah, yeah I see you Andrew Ridgeley.) Michael and Ridgeley met in 1981, created Wham!, became big stars and then broke up in the Spring of 1986.

While Ridgeley went on to a mostly middling post-Wham! career. He did release 1990's "Son of Albert", which has the minor radio "Shake" on it (wow those vocals are painful, but the song is a lot better once the music becomes more prominent):

George Michael, born as Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, was born on June 25th, 1963. He sold over 115 million CDs in his magnificent career. Sadly on Christmas Day, 2016 George Michael died a way too early death. I have 8 Wham! and 58 George Michael songs on my iTunes.

34) Wham! "Credit Card Baby":

33) Wham! "Where Did Your Heart Go":

32) Wham! "Come On":

31) George Michael "Cowboys and Angels":

30) George Michael "Waiting For That Day":

29) George Michael "Heal The Pain":

28) Wham! "Edge of Heaven":

27) "Blue (Armed With Love)":

26) George Michael "Hard Day":

25) Wham "A Ray Of Sun":
