(Finished March 8th, 2018) themusicaddict's Top 106 Greatest 80's Era Band #19 Lionel Richie Part 1: The Best of The Commodores

Hello,

My 19th Greatest 80's Era Musician is Lionel Richie. Richie first gained fame as the lead singer of the fantastic 70's band The Commodores. He had several hits with The Commodores and left to go solo in 1982. As a solo artist he also went on to have several hits. Before we get to his solo hits, let's celebrate all the great songs The Commodores had over the years. All these songs, except one, were sung by Lionel Richie. But after he left the Commodores still had at least one more great song, that was the song "Night Shift".

"Machine Gun":

"Sweet Love":

"Just To Be Close To You":

"Fancy Dancer":

"Zoom":

"Too Hot Ta Trot":

"Say Yeah":

"Slippery When Wet":

"Wonderland":

"Oh No":

"Lady (You Bring Me Up)":

"Brick House":

"Easy":

"Three Times A Lady":

In my opinion, this is The Commodores best song. "Still":

"Sail On":

24 million views, obviously I'm not the only that likes it. "Night Shift":
