Hello,

Do you know what The Rolling Stones, Belinda Carlisle, U2 and Ellie Goulding have in common? They all sing songs about or that mention horses. These are a bunch of great songs here, ain't no horsing around here.

(Finished December 12th, 2020) Great Musicians That Died in 2020, Part 1

Hello,

This is not a definitive list of every great musician who has died in 2020. It's also not a list of the best musicians that died in 2020. What it is is a list of some of my favorite musicians that died in 2020.

The news has just broken in the last hour, but the great Charley Pride died today. He's probably not well known by most people, however I grew up near the high point of his popularity. I was able to see him in concert and I've loved his music over the years. He died today at the age 86, of Covid-19. It's one of the long lasting memories we'll have from 2020. R.I.P. Charley.

Here are five of Charley's best songs "Kaw-Liga":

"Kiss An Angel Good Morning":

"Don't You Fight The Feelings of Love":

"Is Anyone Going To San Antone":

"You're My Jamaica":

Tommy DeVito of The Four Seasons fame "Sherry":

"Big Girls Don't Cry":

This is kinda cool and definitely another sign of 2020. "Let's Hang On":

"Dawn (Go Away)":

"Stay":

"Working My Way Back To You":

Vera Lynn "We'll Meet Again":

"Auf Wiederseh'n Sweetheart":

"The White Cliffs of Dover":

Here's a song from Pink Floyd that name checks Vera Lynn, simply titled "Vera".

Ennio Morricone "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly":

"Once Upon A Time (Deborah's Theme)":

"Chi Mai":

"A Fistful of Dollars":

Metallica's version of "The Ecstasy of Gold":
