Hello,
This is the first one of these blogs that I've posted in 3 years, still this music hasn't got close to getting old.
KJQ was a Salt Lake radio station that played "new wave" music back in about 1983 to about 1991. I did some research, but couldn't find the exact years it was operating. Anyway they played so-called new wave music. Some of the most famous artists of that genre include U2, Pet Shop Boys, New Order, The Fixx, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Thompson Twins, The Human League, The Smiths and likely my favorite new wave band, R.E.M. Some of these bands are still performing today.Hello,

These are songs about places and locations, even if the title has nothing to do with the place mentioned. Real places, literary places and fantasy places.
If you're wondering, yes I'm still completing a lot of old blogs.

Hello,
I have labeled some of these songs as best of the best, the 90s was a tremendous decade for country music. As usual I don't just post the hits, I post the best country songs of that decade.
RollingStone.com has a big article about Generation Z is loving 90s country. Here's the article : https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/nineties-country-blowing-gen-z-142735025.html
From the article:
But the Nineties country resurgence isn’t limited to Spotify. Apple Music, Amazon Music and Pandora have all realized the demand for the subgenre and curated their own Nineties country playlists. Today’s Nashville stars have taken note as well: For the past few years, artists like Luke Combs, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Hailey Whitters, and Midland have been mining the sound, songwriting, and even style of the decade to great success. Blake Shelton based his entire Friends and Heroes Tour around celebrating veterans like John Anderson and Tracy Byrd. And when Joe Diffie, a Nineties icon with hits like “John Deere Greene” and “Pickup Man,” died in March 2020 from Covid-19, our remembrance of Diffie was one of Rolling Stone’s most-read stories ever.

Hello,
On my morning walk I heard Michael Jackson's "Bad" and I'm sure I've never done such a blog before. I tried to come up with all the songs that have "Bad" in the title while still on my walk. I thought of the songs "Bad" by U2, Bon Jovi's "Bad Medicine", Cinderella's "Bad Seamstress Blues", Jim Croce's "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" and Bruce Springsteen's "Badlands". I also thought of the bands Bad English and Bad Company. Then when I got home I realized Bad Company has a song titled "Bad Company". The rest of the things on this list came after I got home and did some research.
