(Finished May 30th, 2023) Part 6 of the Best Pop, Rock and Soul Songs of 1986

Hello,

After watching another great episode of "Cold Case" I continue to say that show uses music to highlight and emphasize the emotions that enhance the storyline. Tonight I watched the Season 1 finale of "Cold Case", it's the episode entitled "Lover's Lane". The story is based in 1986, in other words a lot of great music from 1986 played. The first 8 songs below are songs played in that episode of "Cold Case". Some of those songs aren't actually from 1986. Starting with the ninth song though starts many of the greatest songs of that year.

It reminds me again how great the music was in 1986, but then again every year of the 80s had amazing music.

(Finished May 21st, 2023) Part 3 of The Best 80sish Synth Songs

Hello,

I like to make the joke that the best way to tell if a movie is an 80s movie is by the synth music in the background. Many times those are great synth songs, but not always. There were a lot of terrible synth songs in the 80s. It was a trend that a lot of people tried to exploit, some much better than others.

Thanks again to ranker.com for the ideas. Also thanks to Paramo de Tres Incendios Records for their Synth Pop YouTube video. Thanks for introducing to so much new music.

35) Johnny Hates Jazz "Shattered Dreams":

36) New Order "The Perfect Kiss":
