In light of Andy Rourke's death yesterday here's some of the selected best of New Wave. Yes, of course that will include some of the Smiths best music. This series of blogs also goes out to Pete Burns, the flam- boyant singer for Dead or Alive. Also these series of blogs are dedicated to Andy Fletcher, keyboardist and bass guitarist for Depeche Mode. Other 80s musicians who died way too young include Stuart Adamson of Big Country.
And how could I forget Michael Hutchence, lead singer for INXS, who died of suicide. I can't remember what INXS song it was now, but I heard an INXS to start off my morning walk the other day. But that song put me immediately into a great mood.
