(Finished August 26th, 2022) Part 2 of The Best Seven Individual Years In Pop Music, Madonna 1985-1991

Hello,

Was there ever a more significant seven years in pop music history for a performer than Madonna's 1984 to 1990? In that timeframe she released the CDs "Like A Virgin", "True Blue" and the "Who's That Girl" soundtrack. She also released "Like A Prayer", the "You Can Dance" dance CD and her greatest hits collection "The Immaculate Collection". She also released the soundtrack to "Dick Tracy, it's the "I'm Breathless" soundtrack. In that timeframe she released the below songs, many of these are classic Madonna tunes. She also acted in five movies, with an additional movie being released during that time that she had been made earlier.  The best movie she was associated with during that time was "Vision Quest". She contributed "Gambler" and one of her best ballads "Crazy For You" to that movie. She also went on three different tours.

My good friends at amazon are delivering a book about Madonna and the entire 80s music era tomorrow, I look forward to reading that book. It's Mary Gabriel's "Madonna: A Rebel Life".
