(Finished December 19th, 2024) The Eight Best of "Les Miserables", "Evita" and "Phantom of The Opera":

Hello,

Yes another blog inspired by my long walks listening to my iPod. "Think of Me" was the inspiration this time. I was going to try and stick with seven songs, but that was just not enough.

First up "Les Miserables", the Broadway play over the music by far. The movie needs to be remade with every character being able to sing, especially Javert:

Let's start off with the ribald choice first. 1) Ruthie Henshall, Philip Quast, Colm Wilkinson and "Les Mis" cast "Lovely Ladies"/ "Fantine's Arrest"/ "Runaway Cart":

2a) The 1987 Tony Awards "At The End of the Day"/ "One Day More":

2b) "At The End of The Day":

3) Colm Wilkinson "Who Am I-The Trial":

4) "The Robbery- Javert's Intervention":

5) Colm Wilkinson and Philip Quast "The Confrontation":

6) "Master of The House":

7) "Do You Hear The People Sing":

8) Norm Lewis "Stars":

I preferred the movie over seeing this on stage. Next is "Phantom of the Opera":

9) Lindsey Stirling "Phantom of The Opera Medley":

10a) Sarah Brightman "Think of Me":

10b) Jackie Evancho "Think of Me":

Alright one more, 10c) The lovely Emmy Rossum "Think of Me":

11) Sarah Brightman "Angel of Music":

12) "Overture":

13) "Masquerade":

14) Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman "Phantom of the Opera":

Goosebumps alert. 15) Sarah Brightman "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again":

16) Minnie Driver and "Phantom" cast "Prima Donna":

Encore Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson "Down Once More/ Track Down The Murderer":

Finally from "Evita":

She has an unusual last name, but the woman can sang. 17) Samantha Barks "Another Suitcase In Another Hall":

18) The amazing Madonna with one of the most joyous songs ever. "Buenos Aires":

19) Antonio Banderas "And The Money Kept Rolling In":

20) Madonna and cast "Rainbow Tour":

21) Antonio Banderas and Madonna "High Flying, Adored":

22) "Peron's Latest Flame":

23) Madonna "A New Argentina":

24) Antonio Banderas "Oh What A Circus":
