Hello,
I'd like this series of blogs to be about great 80s and 90s songbirds. For this blog series I'm going to focus on lesser known female singers. By "lesser known" I don't mean to disparage anyone. Several of these women and women led bands had a lot of big songs. They're just the not first people you think of when you hear of 80s and 90s songbirds.
Natalie Anne Merchant was born on October 26th, 1963. She went on to have a successful career as the singer and main songwriter for 10,000 Maniacs. Eventually she left on her own to have some success as a solo artist. Here are some of the best songs of her entire career. These first seven songs are from her career with 10,000 Maniacs.
Sit back and enjoy some great tunes.
