(Finished August 12th, 2023) Part 1 of the Second Tour Stop of the 2023 Lost 80's Live

Hello,

Today is Day the second tour stop of the Lost 80s tour, it will be held in the Sandy Amphitheatre in Sandy, Utah. Review is following.

For some reason most of the sets were shorter than on the first night of the tour. It was also an incredibly hot night. Also time to break down and set up stages may have been longer than the actual performances themselves. My suggestion for the next Lost 80's Live is to have fewer acts, have them play more songs and start a hour later. Starting later especially if it's in the middle of the summer in an outdoor venue.

Here in the Salt Lake City suburb of Sandy Musical Youth played 3 songs, as opposed to the first night of the tour when they played 4 songs. That's according to setlist.fm.

We found out the reason they play this song is because they are actually in the original video. That's pretty cool as we all know Bob Marley is the man. In Sandy they played "One Love", "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Pass The Dutchie". 1) A cover of the Bob Marley classic "One Love":

2) "Youth Of Today":

Here are two incomplete videos of this song 3) "Never Gonna Give You Up":

4) "Pass The Dutchie":

Kon Kan played the same three songs in Sandy. Part of their band was a brilliant female singer, I do not remember her name. But she more than ably covered the "ahhhhhhh" from Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song". Her vocals on "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" were also fantastic. Kon Kan:

1)  "Puss 'N Boots/ These Boots Are Made For Walkin":

2) "Move To Move":

3) "I Beg Your Pardon (I Never Promised You A Rose Garden)":

Animotion only played three songs on night 2 of the tour "Room To Move", "Let Him Go" (I think) and of course the incredible earworm "Obsession". That last song is a pure moment of pop bliss.

1) "Room To Move":

2) "Let Him Go":

3) "I Engineer":

4) "Obsession":

Coming out in a Superwoman cape Shannon took the stage and performed all of two songs. There was also a lot of filler in her two songs and much of the singing was done by the very talented percussionist. They, yes it's they, performed "Give Me Tonight" and "Let The Music Play". Both songs are classic 80s jams but maybe she could have thrown in a Donna Summer cover and have a more tight set?

1) "My Heart's Divided":

2) "Give Me Tonight":

3) "Let The Music Play":

I had heard Stacey Q wasn't very good in previous Lost 80's Live performances, but she was pretty good last night. My only complaint she only played three songs and one of those songs wasn't "We Connect". In Sandy she played "Insecurity" possibly "Dancing Nowhere" and of course the classic "Two of Hearts". Stacey Q:

1) "Insecurity":

2) "Dancing Nowhere":

3) "We Connect":

4) "Two of Hearts":
