(Finished January 15th, 2026) Part 1 of Let's Enjoy Some of the Best Songs of 1986

Hello,

I have been working a lot of hours of late so I haven't had as much time to blog. My busy schedule should calm down soon and hopefully I can go back to a more regular blogging schedule.

What were some of the biggest hits from 40 years ago? Well let's go back and find out. For the most part I have stayed away from the biggest hits of that year. But these are still some pretty great songs.

One of the most beautiful and powerful songs of all-time. 1) Lionel Richie "Say You, Say Me":

2) Whitney Houston "How Will I Know":

3) Prince and the Revolution "Kiss":

4) Janet Jackson "Nasty":

5) DeBarge "Who's Johnny":

6) Billy Ocean "Love Zone":

7) Cameo "Word Up":

8) Gregory Abbott "Shake You Down":

9) Ready For The World "Love You Down":

10) The Forester Sisters "Just In Case":

11) Alabama "She and I":

12) Hank Williams Jr. "Ain't Misbehavin":

13) Restless Heart "That Rock Won't Roll":

The song is from 1986, this duet is from 2023. 14) Reba McEntire featuring Cody Johnson Whoever's In New England":

I don't ever remembering seeing this video for this song before. 15) Dan Seals "Everything That Glitters Is Not Gold":

16) Bon Jovi "Livin On A Prayer":

17) The Cutting Crew "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight":
