This blog series will provide all songs from all #1 CDs of the 80s. 

Disco peaked in 1979, some of that overflowed into 1980. I find it interesting the first two #1 CDs of the 80s are Disco CDs. Two of the most legendary Disco performers in Donna Summer and The Bee Gees.

Donna Summer aka The Queen of Disco is one of our most talented and amazing Disco singers. Miss Summer lived from December 31st, 1948 to May 17th, 2012. She sold a surprisingly low number of almost 14,000,000 albums. She finished with 3 #1 albums, "Bad Girls", "Live and More" and the CD below. She also had four #1 songs and had 14 Top Ten songs. =This CD, Donna Summer "Greatest Hits Volumes 1 & 2" was the first #1 CD of 1980. It was #1 on January 5th, 1980.
