(Finished July 8th, 2018) Concert Review of Zeppelin USA's "British Rock Royalty" Show in Layton, Utah July 7th, 2018

Hello,

This is my review of last night's British Rock Royalty show performed by Zeppelin USA, performing in the Ed Kenley Amphitheatre in Layton, Utah. Taking the stage right about 8:00 on a hot steamy night Zeppelin USA didn't mess around, they started off with "Baba O' Riley" and didn't let up until the final blistering solo and notes of "Whole Lotta Love".

They played sets of songs by The Who, Pink Floyd, Queen and then closed the show with the greatest rock bank of all-time, The Mighty Zep. I haven't been able to find a setlist anywhere on the 'net so this is the first published setlist that I'm aware of. The first set lasted from about 8:00 to 9:10 and then the second set lasted roughly from 9:25 to 10:35.

Overall it was a great concert, a great band and a very good singer. The sound was great and the musicianship was spectacular. Zeppelin USA was great on all of the songs by all 4 bands, but their show took flight with the Led Zeppelin songs. Those songs are really meant to be played live and I look forward to seeing Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin tribute in about 2.5 weeks. There are very few things as good as a live rock concert. Anyway if you get the chance to go, go see Zeppelin USA. You will not be disappointed.

I'll post selected songs from the British Rock Royalty set and some by the original bands. Remember these songs sound so much better live than the below videos.

The Who set
1) "Baba O'Riley":
This looks like basically the same band that performed Saturday night, although the lead guitarist is a different person. 2) "Who Are You":

3) "Pinball Wizard":
4) "Reign Over Me":

5) "Won't Get Fooled Again":

Pink Floyd's set:
6) "Time":

7) "Money":
8) "Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2":

9) "Comfortably Numb":

David Gilmour's recently recorded version of this song. 10) "Run Like Hell":

Queen's set:
11) "Tie Your Mother Down":

12) "Somebody To Love":
13)  "Fat Bottomed Girls":
14) "Another One Bites The Dust/ Under Pressure":
15) "Bohemian Rhapsody":

Although it wasn't the original band playing those amazing songs Zep's songs still sounded great. Those songs soar when played live. Zeppelin USA also does a full two hour Led Zeppelin set, I hope to see that some day. Led Zeppelin's set:

16) "Rock N' Roll":

17) "Good Times Bad Times":

18) "Black Dog":

19) "Misty Mountain Hop":

20) "Stairway To Heaven":

21) "Whole Lotta Love/ Boogie With Stu/ Immigrant Song/ Heartbreaker/ Whole Lotta Love":

"Heartbreaker":
