Hello,
I know I can't go back to 1985, but I really wish I could. That's the year I graduated from high school, went away to college for the first time and also began preparing for my LDS mission.
Just things seemed to be so much better than and the future seemed so bright. But with the terrible Trump disaministration coming back it's going to go to be a rough four years. I may have to go back to the musical vault through the next four years. Tonight I'm going back to 1985.
1) George Michael "Careless Whisper":
Madonna was my girl back in 1985, I even had her poster hung on my wall. It wasn't this one but it was similar. I was such a huge Madonna fan that I've even seen "Shanghai Surprise" and that's a terrible movie.
2) Madonna "Like A Virgin":
3) Chaka Khan featuring Grandmaster Melle Mel "I Feel For You":
4) Dire Straits "Money For Nothing":
5) Madonna "Crazy For You":
6) Starship "We Built This City":
7) Huey Lewis and the News "The Power of Love":
"You can break the boy in me but you won't break the man." 8) "St. Elmo's Fire (Man In Motion)":
I just found out there's a version of this song with lyrics, but this instrumental version is so much better. 9) David Foster Love Theme From "St. Elmo's Fire":
10) U.S.A. For Africa "We Are For The World":
The incomparable Queen of Pop. 11) Whitney Houston "Saving All My Love For You":
12) Jan Hammer "Miami Vice Theme":
13) The Commodores "Nightshift":
18) The Time "Jungle Love":
19) The Thompson Twins "Lay Your Hands On Me":
20) 'Til Tuesday "Voices Carry":
