(Finished November 6th, 2024) Part 1 of Songs For Our National Nightmare To Accompany A Second Trump presidency

Hello,

On this very incredibly sad night it looks like we'll have to live under the draconian rule of president Dumbass again. I find this incredibly sad and heartbreaking. The man has no moral character, honesty isn't a thing he values and he has the brain cells of a donkey. He's like Danny Devito in "Twins", he has every bad attribute one person can have. It's going to be four more years of hell with this buffoon as our "leader".

Although this makes me very sad I did have some positive feelings. I still live in the greatest country in the world- for now. This is a time we are going to have to stand up our fellow Americans and anyone else that needs our help.

1) Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here":

2) R.E.M. "Everybody Hurts":

3) Elton John "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word":

I'll be listening to a lot of these songs of peace and contentment the next four years. 4) Lana Del Rey "Summertime Sadness":

5) Smokey Robinson and the Miracles "The Tracks of My Tears":

6) Tori Amos "Silent All These Years":

I say this about a lot of songs, but this truly is one of the greatest songs of all time. 7) The Smiths "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out":

8) Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band "The River":

9) The Counting Crows "A Long December":

10) Midnight Oil "Blue Sky Mine":

11) The Fiery Furnaces "Single Again":

12) Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling":

13) Rachel Platten "Fight Song":

Journey and the nearly incomparable singing voice of Steve Perry. 14) "Don't Stop Believin'":

15) Louis Armstrong "What A Wonderful World":

16) Bon Jovi "It's My Life":

17) Corey Hart "Never Surrender":
