(Updated August 17th, 2020) themusicaddict's Get Jerry Jones Far Away From My Beloved Cowboys Playlist.

Hello,

Updated August 17th, 2020: Meet the new Cowboys, same as the old Cowboys. How will the Cowboys bungle this season? It's not if, it's when. Well that is if there's even a season.

I've written blogs like this before and in those blogs I've used some of the same songs as I will on this blog. But if the shoe still fits......

At this point in Jerry Jones horrendous ownership of the Cowboys, I don't think the real Cowboys fans still support him. What he has done to the Cowboys is simply disgraceful. Yesterday the Cowboys were able to beat the terrible Redskins, a game the Redskins gift wrapped for the Cowboys to win. If I didn't know better, I'd suggest the Redskins wanted to lose that game. Mike Shanahan going for a two point conversion when he should have just gone for the 1 point conversion. Terrence Williams getting behind the Redskins cornerback, something that should never happen in the NFL. And allowing the Cowboys to convert on two fourth downs on their final drive.

It made me sick seeing Jerry Jones gloating over the Cowboys win after the game. I was hoping that Dallas lost yesterday. With the Eagles win later in the night, that would have made this Sunday's game meaningless. The Cowboys, who look like crap when they have something to play for, would be even worse when they were just playing out the string. Greedy Named Stadium would have been a lot less festive and the game would have stayed an early game.

Jerry wouldn't have been able to besiege us with his illiterate ramblings as much. The one consolation I took in yesterday's victory is that the Cowboys won in spite of all of Jerruh's meddling. Even Jerruh, the most famous snake oil salesman ever, wouldn't have been able to spin a loss to the terrible Redskins into something good. Dallas would have been out of the playoff chase.

To anyone still on the Cowboys bandwagon, I say "All aboard":

"The Jerry Jones Parody Song" (was hoping for a bit more humor):

Mocking the Dallas Cowboys set to "Starboy":

Even "Taylor Swift" has an opinion about the Cowboys, a team that has become a pathetic franchise. The song "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back To The Playoffs" is right on so many counts. We aren't that many steps above the Browns now. I especially love the line "the football process much cooler than a win" said with the full Swiftian sarcasm voice. I can't find the original video, but this will do.

Here's a youtube.com video of the Cowboys choking in the 2008 playoffs. The sad thing about this video is how little has changed with the Cowboys since then. Jones is still the owner and chief decision maker. The head coach has changed from one puppet to another, Wade Phillips to Jason Garrett. The offensive coordinator at the time was none other than Garrett, who probably called that final pass that was intercepted. And of course it was Romo who threw that interception. Other than Phillips all those fools are still in Dallas. No wonder the Cowboys still suck in 2013 and probably for many years going forward.

The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again". Paraphrasing here a bit: "meet the old boss, who's the exact same old boss that got us in this mess." The title of this song is perfect, because many Cowboys fans still buy into Jerry's lies and how he spins things every year. Many fans continue to get fooled, which is how I was for the longest time. Thankfully I've seen the light now!

Jerry when you start from nothing, what else do you expect to end up with? Jerry is the master of making money, but when it comes to football he's a complete idiot. Instead of competing for the Super Bowl, the Cowboys can't even make the playoffs. That goes back to all of YOUR bad decisions in selecting players and coaches. Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett, a way past his prime Monte Kiffin, need I go on? Well I'm not going to, many of these idiots you've hired bring too many bad memories to mind. Billy Preston says it best when it comes to your GM "skills",
"Nothing From Nothing":

What else can be said about reign of mediocrity Jerry.  Men At Work say it best: "It's A Mistake":

After another debacle of an offseason by you Jerruh, Cowboys fans are always.... "On The Edge Of A Broken Heart":

Even with Jerruh's heavy handed ways and poor decision making, I have good news fellow Cowboys fans. We have the power to force the Jones to sell. I'm not going to lie, it's going to take a lot of effort, time and coordination between fans. When us fans stop showing up to Jerry World and stop buying anything with a Cowboys logo on it, we can affect real change. If Jones starts losing money, he'll be less interested in ruining owning the Cowboys.

Just remember Cowboys fans, we have "The Power"! Here's Snap to fire up real Cowboys fans who want meaningful changes with the Cowboys, starting with getting a new owner. We want an owner that's more concerned with winning than putting on "a show". Real Cowboys fans are sick of seeing Skeletor in the paper and on TV. I'm not sure why he wants attention for doing such a horrible job, after 17 years of mediocrity you can't call it anything else. He's the Randy Jackson of NFL owners.

Jerry knows that once he sells the Cowboys no one will care about his opinion any more, not that many of us do now. I wish ESPN would stop giving Jones a platform. He hasn't said anything intelligent for years, it's hard to believe how a college graduate can speak so poorly.

Remember fans we have "The Power":
