I'm leaving room to add songs to these blogs as I think of more songs.
All three of these amazing covers are by Adele:
Bonnie Raitt's amazing version was our first introduction to this song. Both of these ladies were born to sing this song. 1) Adele "I Can't Make You Love Me":
This song originates with The Steel Drivers. 2) "If It Hadn't Been For Love":
This song comes from the pen of Bob Dylan and was first commercially released by Billy Joel.
3) "Make You Feel My Love":
The original was by The King of Pop, Michael Jackson. 4) Alien Ant Farm "Smooth Criminal":
The original song was by Prince. 5) Art of Noise featuring Tom Jones "Kiss":
Both versions of this song are amazing, the original is by Don Henley.
6) Ataris "Boys of Summer":
From the Bangles originally. 7) Atomic Kitten "Eternal Flame":
Simon & Garfunkel had many amazing songs, but their version of this song isn't so good.
The only bad thing about this song is that it's not longer. 8) Bangles "Hazy Shade of Winter":
Shocking Blue originated this song, this version is so much better. 9) Bananarama "Venus":
The original song was by The Isley Brothers. 10) Beatles "Twist and Shout":
Otis Redding sang the original version of this classic. 11) The Black Crowes "Hard To Handle":
The Spencer Davis Band first performed this song with amazing vocals by Steve Winwood.
12) The Blues Brothers "Gimme Some Lovin'":
From the great Muddy Waters. 13) Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown "Got My Mojo Working":
Although not quite as good as Nine Inch Nail's classic original, this is still a pretty good version. Buckcherry's singer sounds a bit like Trent Reznor. 14) Buckcherry "Head Like A Hole":
Jimmy Webb wrote and delivered an incomplete version of this song.
15) Glen Campbell "Wichita Lineman":
Prince wrote and performed the best version of this song, but this definitely is the best version of this song. 16) Chaka Kahn "I Feel For You":
Cher covered her own song, 21 years after she originally released it. I prefer the rock version much more. 17) Cher "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)":
Essentially covering his own song, from when he was with Derek and the Dominoes, when this song was first released. I prefer this slowed down version though. 18) Eric Clapton "Layla":
