(Started September 30th, 2024) The Most Successful Years of Billy Joel and Sting

Today I bought tickets to see Billy Joel and Sting in concert in May 2025 here in Salt Lake. As always I'll be attending with my rock concert girlfriend. I'm not sure when Billy Joel's most successful year was so I Googled it. Google said the year was 1985 as that when he released his double greatest hits CD. It has sold over 11.5 million copies of the double CD so far. I'm going to focus on the songs from that CD from 1980-1983. This will be my fifth time seeing Billy Joel. He puts on a tremendous show.

Now for Sting I don't have to think about it too long. Those years are 1983-1985 following the release of "Synchronicity" and his first solo CD. After the release of that CD they were briefly the biggest band in the world and then they broke up. Sting's first CD is "The Dream of The Blue Turtle" This will be my second time seeing Sting, I was never able to see The Police. A tip of the hat to the other members of The Police, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers.
