1993 was turbulent, it was the first time terrorists hit the World Trade Center. It was also the year of the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco, Texas. Also Pablo Escobar was killed by Colombian special forces. River Phoenix died outside of The Viper Room with drug induced heart failure.

Bill Clinton started his first term as President. Some of the quotes were The X Files "The Truth Is Out There" and California Milk Processor Board's Got Milk?
Movies include "Schindler's List"- a great and heartbreaking novel and movie. Also the Velociraptors of "Jurassic Park" invaded local movie theatres. The movie was decent, but the book is so much better. Also we enjoyed the cute couple of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in "Sleepless In Seattle".
The above website listed a couple of books, but neither one were interesting to me. I have come up with my own list: Tom Clancy's "Without Remorse", Margaret Atwood's "The Robber Bride" (a great, great book), "Lasher" the second of Anne Rice's "The Mayfair Witches" trilogy, Tony Kushner's "Angels In America" and a whole bunch of books I'm not interested in.
