Inauguration

Hello,

Only two more days until the big day, no not the third episode of this season's "American Idol", but the inauguration of our new President. Thanks to my favorite news site abcnews.go.com here is a brief rundown of the exciting events this Tuesday. For more information and details go to abcnews.go.com's website. (All times are EST.) My comments are in parenthesis.

8:45 a.m.: Obamas attend a private service at St. John's Episcopal Church (I am glad to see a religious person as our President.)

10:00 a.m.: Obama meets with President Bush at the White House for coffee, together they travel to the Capitol for inauguration ceremony.

11:30 a.m. : Official inaugural ceremony begins. (Finally.)

12:00 p.m.: Obama is sworn in as president and delivers inaugural address. (My favorite event of the day.)

1:00 p.m.: President Obama and Vice President Biden attend luncheon at the Capitol

1:30 p.m.: President Bush Depart Washington DC (My second favorite event of the day!)

2:30 p.m.: Inaugural parade begins, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama join inaugural motorcade.

8:00 p.m.: Obamas host first-ever Neighborhood Ball at the Convention Center, the premiere event of inauguration evening, broadcast exclusively by ABC and including live coverage of the President and First Lady's first dance of the night and President-elect Obama's initial speech of the evening, alongside performances and appearances by some of the nation's top recording artists and stars.

Congratulations President and First Lady Obama. Congratulations America!

Rumors are that President Obama is going to order America to leave Iraq on his first day in office. That would be awesome.

Just some brief music news. Go to mjsbigblog.com and you can get the free MP3 for Kelly Clarkson's new song, "My Life Would Suck Without You". I think all of America can sing this song to Obama. Of course the song we will be singing to Bush is "Hit The Road Jack".

Have a great week, themusicaddict
