Louisville rocks! "AI" Season 8, Episode 4

Hello,

Louisville, Ky. was a much better audition city than sorry San Francisco. There was some real talent in Louisville. I predict a lot of these people can go a long ways, maybe even be the Season 8 "American Idol" champ.

1) Tiffany Shedd- she was obnoxious and no Tiffany you are not a good singer. Luckily you are still young and you can make something out of your life. Simon Cowell used the analogy of a race and there were 22 race horses and she was a donkey. That is a very cruel way to make an accurate point.

2) Joanna Pacitti- she is a plant according to other "AI" sites- she has had a recording contract with A & M. She even filmed a video for the song "Watch Me Shine". You can see the video at votefortheworst.com. This is a really good song and Britney Spears went on to cover it on her new CD "Circus". She has two songs available at at iTunes right now. They are the songs "Let It Slide" and "This Crazy Life". Both are good songs.

3) Mark Mudd, who was played up to be crazy by creative editing, from what I could tell he was a pretty decent guy. All he said was "be careful" and the intensely paranoid judges took that as a threat? I think they are starting to take themselves too seriously. Mark, I think the show for you is Nashville Star. He was denied a golden ticket but I didn't think he was terrible. Worst singers have made it through to Hollywood, especially this year.

4) Brent Keith Smith who sang Bad Company's "Can't Get Enough of Your Lovin". I thought he did a pretty good job on this. Also Randy Jackson has expanded his vocabulary, this is at least the second contestant I have heard him say "work it out" to. Randy Jackson now has a trusty stable of 7 different phrases to say now. Work it out dawg! Smith is also rumored to make it into the Top 50. (Again this is a rumor. I post it as it is interesting but it may also be erroneous. Anything I label as a rumor, please remember that is exactly what it is.) He also appeared on Nashville Star.

There was then shown a series of 5 bad auditions that had some limited entertainment value.

Due to a busy home life and working a lot of hours in the next few days I will publish part 2 tomorrow. themusicaddict
