The "Use Your Illusion" CD was the third CD that Guns N' Roses released. Obviously the first CD was "Appetite For Destruction", which was followed three years by "G N' R Lies". Other than for the amazing "Patience" and the solid "Used To Love Her" that CD really didn't need to be released.
Sometimes I imagine a world where Axl was a bit more sane and the original band would have released more music. Sure not all the songs would have been great, but they probably would have had a few more classic songs in them. It's sad for all that great music we may have missed out on due to the band's dysfunction. But that being said, G N' R has still given us several amazing songs.
The "Use Your Illusions" are 2.5 hours of what was mostly new music. "Use Your Illusion 1" has 16 songs and is 75:56. "Use Your Illusion 2" has 14 songs and is four seconds shorter at 75:52.
Who was in the band at the time:

1) "Civil War":
2) "14 Years":
3) "Yesterdays":
The long time live staple finally gets a true studio version, I still prefer the live version. 4) "Knocking On Heaven's Door":
This isn't really a song, it's basically Axl Rose complaining. The language is both vulgar and pointless so I won't be posting this song. One of the worst songs from G N' R. 5) "Get In The Ring"
There are several bands that this would be their best song. 6) "Shotgun Blues":
7) "Breakdown":
8) "Pretty Tied Up":
9) "Locomotive":
10) "So Fine":
11) "Estranged":
12) "You Could Be Mine":
13) "Don't Cry" (alternate lyrics):
14) "My World":
