Originally this was songs that were after 2006 that recently played on my iPod. However as I worked on Part 2 of this blog, I realized I had a song from 2005. I love that song, so I decided to change my blog rather than delete that song.
I know most people that view this blog likely get frustrated with all the 80s songs. While I love 80s songs I listen to songs from all eras of music. Here are a selection of songs from 2005 on that have played on my iPod recently. I was surprised that there were so many 2005 songs and on. The number in parenthesis is the year of the release.

Sunday night is the Season 17 finale of "American Idol". I would be good with either Laine or Madison winning, just anyone but the incredibly boring Alejandro. All of his performances sound the same and his arrangements are awful. How did he even get to the finale?
