themusicaddict's 80's Music Blog, Songs About Women

Hello,

Another one and one of the final of my series of blogs dealing with 80s music. My August 15th blog dealt with songs that featured women's names. This blog is more about the most beguiling creatures of all: women. All the things that men can't get enough of and those things that also drive us crazy about women. Enjoy.

Perhaps the best song for this theme, Def Leppard's "Women":

Or maybe this is the best song for this theme? From the Ain't That The Truth Department, Fine Young Cannibals "She Drives Me Crazy":

The Fine Young Cannibals remain flummoxed by the fairer song, even when those women are "The Good Thing":

Joan Jett and the Blackhawk's "Crimson and Clover":

Paula Abdul "Forever Your Girl":

Here's the video only, but not the music for the song, for Prince's "Raspberry Beret". Prince has many great songs, this is one of my favorites of his though.

It's too bad Prince doesn't allow his music on Youtube, this is the Hindu Love Gods version of "Raspberry Beret":

Steve Winwood's "Valerie":

Kim Carnes "Bette Davis Eyes":

Billy Ocean's "Caribbean Queen (No More Love On The Run)":

Level 42 "Something About You":

Skid Row "Sweet Little Sister":

The Knack is one of my all-time favorite bands and I'm not quite sure how they never busted into the big time. But I like to still post their music as much as I can. "Your Number Or Your Name":

"That's What The Little Girls Do":

The Smiths' "Girlfriend In A Coma":

Night Ranger's "Sister Christian":

Yes, I realize this Milli Vanilli was a fake band. But that being said this "Girl You Know It's True" is still a great CD and the music still holds up surprisingly well in 2013. "Girl You Know It's True":

Toto's "Rosanna":
