These are songs that are rocking my iPod, the device which is perfect for exercising.
A song that's probably not usually associated with exercise, but the second half builds making it a decent exercise song. Also for some reason this song brings back a lot of memories. Red Hot Chili Peppers "Under The Bridge":
Nickelback is easily one of the worst big name bands ever, so much of their music sounds exactly alike. It's lame to be derivative of other music, but your own music? That's made even worse when they only sing about two things: sex and partying. Not the smartest band in the world. Is there a less charismatic front man than Chad Kroeger? However even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then. This is what Nickleback found: "How You Remind Me":
A great 9/11 anthem as well as a great song for exercise. Bruce Springsteen out did himself with "The Rising". This is "Lonesome Day":
One of the best country bands currently working is The Band Perry. Thus far their first two CDs have both been excellent, but this is the song that first caused the public to notice them. "If I Die Young":
I love the lyric "the sharp knife of a short life."
This is more of what most people would consider an exercise song, it's also extremely fun to sing along with. Van Halen's "Feels So Good":
One of the best and catchiest songs of the last few years, a song perfect to exercise too and dance too. Maroon 5 "Moves Like Jagger":
One of the best Guns N' Roses songs is "Nightrain". From the opening whistle you know you are about to get your butt kicked:
