(Finished September 9th, 2022) Roger Waters Dream Setlist

Hello,

Last night I had the opportunity of seeing the American hellscape according to Roger Waters.  The Supreme Court is just part of the right wing, all the Presidents since Reagan are war criminals and Julian Assange is a hero. Equal rights for everyone, down with the patriarchy and many other political gripes. I don't care about a performers politics usually, I'm there for the entertainment. I can take or leave their politics. Thus he wasn't too political for me, but also he didn't change my mind on anything. And Roger lets you know what you can do with your opinions of his politics before the show even starts.

He and his band are great live and obviously his/ Pink Floyd's songs are timeless. "Another Brick In The Wall" sounded just as good last night as when I first heard it on the radio over 30 years ago. Waters is an artist, which means he played what he wants. I would just change his setlist, in my opinion a rock show shouldn't usually end with a lesser known ballad or any ballad at all. Obviously this is his show and he can do what he wants, but.... This isn't his setlist from his current tour,  this is my dream Roger Waters setlist.

Set 1:

1) "Deja Vu":

"By the way which one is Pink?" 2) "Have A Cigar":

The most recent song he's performing here on this tour. 3) "The Bar":

Before he sang this song he went on an extended rant about nuclear war and how it's time to get rid of them. He gave a bit of history lesson about JFK and Nikita Khrushchev. This video is part of the political hellscape Waters sees for America and the world. Enjoy this happy little film. 4) "Two Suns In The Sunset":

5) "Brain Damage"/ "Eclipse":

6) "Us and Them":

Yes, I know this is post-Roger Waters Pink Floyd, but this is a cool song. And I know that Waters would never perform Floyd music that he didn't have a hand it, but it would be cool if he did. 7a) "On The Turning Away":

7b) "Learning To Fly":

His tribute to Syd Barrett. 8) "Wish You Were Here":

This, one of the greatest songs of all-time, is the first song played on his current tour? 9) "Comfortably Numb":

Set 2:

10) "The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking":

Roger and Pink Floyd biting the hand that feeds. 11) "Welcome To The Machine":

12) "Not Now John":

13) "Time":

14) "On The Run":

15) "Is There Anyone Out There":

16) "Young Lust":

17) "The Happiest Days of Our Lives"/ "Another Brick In The Wall" Parts 2 & 3:

18) "In The Flesh"/19) "Run Like Hell":

Encore

How could Roger not sing this classic? 20) "Mother":
