"Empty Garden" is about the death of John Lennon, former Beatles singer. I was reading somewhere the other day that it's been 37 years since he was shot and killed. It's hard to believe it has been long. And as many football fans first heard the news was from Howard Cosell on Monday Night Football. Cosell sharing the death of a famous rock musician is still a very surreal moment.
