I love, love the Dallas Cowboys but in their first game of the season they look pathetic. (I gave up on the Cowboys with about 3 minutes left in the game.) How the hell (almost HOH) is Wade Phillips a head coach? Whenever I see him on the sidelines in a game he rarely looks like he knows what to do. His expression "What should I do now, someone please help me." He should be the defensive coordinator and then Dallas should get a real head coach.
Tony Romo really as a starting quarterback. He looks like a hamster in the pocket. I hate how he points all over the field and then lifts his leg to start the play. It's not like the Cowboys are playing a good team either, they are playing the Washington Redskins. Bill Simmons is absolutely right about Tony Romo, you'd rather have him as your fantasy quarterback than as your real quarterback.
Jerry Jones please fire Wade Phillips, why did you sign him to a two year extension last season? With Phillips as head coach, Jason Garrett as offensive coordinator and Tony Romo as alleged starting qb- the word that comes to mind is "anemic". Jerry Jones the Cowboys have a window here when it's possible for them to win the Super Bowl, especially with the Super Bowl in Dallas this year. However that window is quickly closing as Romo burns and Phillips flames out.
Jerry, please, please do something!
