"Closer", Natalie Portman, Football, Football and Football

Hello,

I watched "Closer" last night and it's a very interesting movie. Natalie Portman absolutely looks stunning in this movie, especially in the opening scene where she's walking on the street in a crowd. I looked for a good picture from that scene but I couldn't find one. I never really thought of Natalie Portman as a Uber-babe but in this movie, WOW!

College football starts tonight. I'll be cheering on my alma mater Utah, as they battle #15 Pittsburgh. As usual Utah isn't getting much national love, but I'm excited to see Jordan Wynn. Then right after that game it will be USC killing Hawaii. Football, Diet Coke and Doritos. Life doesn't get much better than that.

BYU starts play on Saturday, they'll be taking on the Washington Huskies and Heisman hopeful Jake Locker. I'm still not sold on BYU going independent in football starting next season. But things have started out pretty good so far. First of all BYU signed a 8 year contract with ESPN for them to have the rights to BYU's home games until 2018. Also BYU is going to play a 6 game series with Notre Dame which will take place by 2020. That's something that never would have happened if they were still in the MWC. Also BYU will be on ESPN, which is a 100 times better than the MTN. That network sucks bad.

How strange will it be for starting next year no Utah teams be in the MWC, unless the state of Utah's little sister of the poor Utah State may join. The MWC will go from being the most important conference in Utah to an after thought. The MWC is still going to be a good football conference. Next year they will still have the powerful TCU and BSU (Broncos beat Va. Tech on Monday please!) Fresno State and I keep on waiting for CSU to bounce back.
