Knicks Exposed Again: "Where's Melo?", Jones GM "Abilities" Continue To Haunt The Cowboys

Hello,

Last night the Nuggets took the Knicks to the woodshed and they showed no mercy. This was Carmelo Anthony's first game in Denver since his drama filled trade a couple of years back. If the Nuggets aren't happy about dumping him, they are crazy.

I watched about the last 8 minutes of the second quarter of the Nuggets-Knicks game last night, but it was great. I loved the 17-0 run the Nuggets put on the Knicks. I enjoy so much when these creatures of hype get exposed, speaking both of the Knicks and Carmelo Anthony. Reading the recap of last night's game on espn.com, 90% of the article is about Anthony and his pathetic Knicks. Um ESPN, the Knicks are the team that lost by 23 points and frankly they were never in that game at all. I wish that the media could focus on team because of current results and not because of their past.

I also loved Nuggets fans started chanting "Where's Melo?" But that came after they booed him every time he touched the ball. The "Where's Melo" chant made me laugh. Again I'm not sure why Anthony gets so much love, I've never seen him do anything great. He plays on the third best team in the East. That's like being the third best team in the Pac-12 conference, not around for too long when crunch time starts. He doesn't play much defense and he also doesn't make his teammates better. So if he isn't scoring then what is he doing?

Yeah I'm not sure why ESPN would talk about the winning team? I mean after all the Nuggets have only won 10 straight games. (The Knicks are 6-4 over their last 10 games.) If the Nuggets and the Knicks were in the same conference the Nuggets would be leading New York by 3 games. Also if the Nuggets were in the Eastern Conference, they'd be in second place. And obviously if they were in the Eastern Conference they'd have a better record. Why? Because they'd be playing more Eastern Conference teams.

The Knicks play the third game on their 5 game Western road trip tonight. They've lost the first two games by a total of 52 points. The Knicks will be losing to the Trailblazers. The poorly constructed Knicks will be with out A'mare Stoudemire (no loss), Carmelo Anthony (overrated, 3-12 and little defense last night) and maybe Tyson Chandler. At least Chandler shows some effort, but clearly on the downside of his career.

Thanks to TNT (which easily has the best NBA halftime show) for showing the Traiblazers-Knicks game tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing the Knicks get whipped again. What will the Knicks do without Anthony with him being in New York getting his knee drained? The Knicks weren't going to win anyway. I'd be surprised if we see Anthony on the rest of this road trip.

Knicks coach Mike Woodson is worried about Anthony. I'm so glad my job doesn't rely on the status of Anthony.

Meanwhile the Heat won their 20th consecutive game, they lead the next closest team by 9.5 games. That team being the Pacers. Again the Eastern Conference playoffs will basically be Snow White and the 7 Dwarves. The Knicks are the dwarf Whiny.

And the less said about the Jazz the better. They were embarrassed by the Thunder last night even more than I thought they would, I was hoping they would only lose by less than 20 points. Nope they couldn't do even that. Of course when a team only scores 9 points in a quarter, that seriously is going to hurt their chances. #seriouslyjazzitstimetogotoayouthmovement

I also love that the Lakers lost last night too. Kobe didn't get the end of the game call that he usually does. Then he injured himself, um maybe Kobe you shouldn't kick out your legs. Bryant allegedly is going to be out indefinitely. But we all know that means he'll be back next game. I don't see the Pacers showing any mercy to Kobe. The Lakers are average with Bryant, what would they be without him? Nothing. As the old saying says the Lakers without Kobe- there's not much there there.

I'm laughing to myself, without Kobe where would the Lakers get their scoring from? I know most Lakers fans can't see it, but this Laker's team is just awful. They've only been saved from complete embarrassment by having one of the best players ever on their team. Take this team without Kobe, would they win 30 games? Maybe.

The terrible legacy of Jerry Jones as a GM continues. If Victor Butler doesn't play for the Cowboys this season that means that none of the 2009 Cowboy draft picks will no longer be on the roster. Of course that's the same year that Jones gave up multiple picks to get under performing wide receiver Roy Wlliams. Yes, that means that Jerry Jones was outsmarted by the Lions in that trade. Just another sign of how the Cowboys are going to continue to be mediocre at best with Jones making the decisions.

That's one thing that Jerry Jones is good at is cutting players. He cut Marcus Spears saving the Cowboys $2 million dollars. When is he going to announce that the Cowboys will be cutting Doug "Anything But" Free after June 1st. That will save the Cowboys $7 million for a player that was absolutely awful last year.

Tonight in the World Baseball Classic, the USA will play the Dominican Republic. And I'm going to be honest, as a fan of the USA I'm scared to death of the DR. Them and Japan have probably been the two best teams in this tournament so far. I'm standing behind my prediction that Japan is going to win this tournament again. The USA started out slowly, but is coming into form. In their last game the USA beat Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico bounced back last night with a victory over Canada.
