(Finished October 10th, 2022) Part 1 of The Best of Heartland Rock

Hello,

Inspired by the great music of The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, I thought it's time to do a series of blogs of the best heartland rock songs. I know The Boss is from New Jersey, but his rock music is very heartland oriented. There are a lot of songs making their themusicaddict debut here today.

albumoftheyear.org suggested Fender when I Googled the best of Heartland Rock. I had never heard of him, but this song has 15 million YouTube views. It seems Sam Fender is from England, but his music really feels like it's Heartland Rock. It seems like I've been missing out and I do like this song. 1) Sam Fender "Seventeen Going Under":

This might be the ultimate Heartland Rock song, although I've never been a big fan of some of the more explicit lyrics. 2) John Mellencamp "Jack and Diane":

3) Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band "Dancing In The Dark":

No maybe this is the ultimate Heartland Rock song? 4) Steve Earle "Copperhead Road":

5) Georgia Satellites "Keep Your Hands To Yourself":

6) Bachman Turner Overdrive "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet":

7) Lone Justice "Shelter":

8) The Drive By Truckers "The Driver":

9) The Tractors "Baby Likes To Rock It":

10 The Steve Miller Band "Jet Airliner":

11) Joe Walsh "Life's Been Good":

12) John Hiatt "Have A Little Faith In Me":

13) Larry Crane "Whiskey Burnin'":

14) Bruce Hornsby and the Range "The Way It Is":

15) The Bottle Rockets "Radar Gun":

16) Bruce Springsteen "The Badlands":

17) Joe Ely "The Road Goes On Forever":
