"The Amazing Spiderman 2": Good Movie, Great Songs

Yesterday I went to see "The Amazing Spiderman 2" with two of my kids. Honestly I wouldn't have seen it if my kids hadn't wanted to go. After the 3 incredibly boring Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies, I had no interest in seeing the reboot. That's in spite of liking both Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. But with my kids wanting to see it I decided to take them. I hadn't seen the first movie so I watched that this past Monday, I was quite surprised when I liked that. Although I was surprised by how little chemistry Garfield and Stone had in this movie.

Although this sequel had too many endings, overall I enjoyed the movie very much. The chemistry between Garfield and Stone was vastly improved. But then that ending and Gwen...... I liked the way the Rhino was introduced, that should lead to an explosive opening of the third "Amazing Spiderman". The Rhino, if his role is done right, seems could be one of the cooler villains in modern superhero movies.

This soundtrack has the most surprising collection of great songs since "The Great Gatsby". Both share Alicia Keys songs, which I don't think is a coincidence. Who doesn't love Alicia Keys? Stunningly gorgeous, great singer and a great songwriter.
