Things I'm Not Writing About: May 28th, 2014: Lauren German's Amazing Eyes, The Continuing Decline of the Dallas Cowboys

Hello,

On October 9th, 2011 I wrote about Lauren German's green eyes on this blog. She must have been using colored contacts as it seems her natural eye color is blue. Well whatever her actual eye color is, she still has amazing eyes. In 2011 she was appearing on "Hawaii 5-0", that was before that show went in the toilet. Now the lovely Miss German is appearing on the much better "Chicago Fire", here she is in her full glory.

Of course she's not the only one that's gorgeous on this show, there's also Monica Raymund:

From two amazingly beautiful women to the continued doldrums of the Dallas Cowboys. Yes, Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys had a good offseason finally. However that's not enough to overcome several years of the many terrible decisions by Jerruh Jones. Yesterday in the teams first Organized Team Activity (OTA) , Sean Lee tore the ACL in his left leg and is likely out for the season. (A tip of the hat to those Cowboys fans who say that Lee could be back for the playoffs and then acknowledging the ridiculousness of that idea. The formerly great Cowboys have missed the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years and their situation seems to be trending down.)

Will this be the only injury that affects the Cowboys? Since this is the NFL, of course not. Jones' continued love of injured players will continue to haunt the Cowboys this season. Look for DeMarco Murray and Morris Claiborne to both miss games this season. Claiborne is hilariously talking about the "The sky is the limit" and he has "big dreams". What does he mean by "the sky is the limit", does he mean how much he'll continue to waste his potential? And by "big dreams", is he referring to still getting paid and producing so very little on the field. Claiborne is a bust, get rid of him asap.

Claiborne missed about half of last season and when he played he really struggled. In typical Cowboys fashion the Cowboys gave up two picks to acquire this bum. Then as this is the NFL there will be a few other players that miss significant time due to injury.

And now Dez Bryant is stating that he "deserves" to be one of the highest paid wide receivers in the game. I don't necessarily disagree, but I wish the Cowboy players would focus on making the playoffs first before they worry about getting taken care of. Dez, I guarantee no one feels sorry for you for "only" making $1.8 million this season.

And don't even start me on that ridiculous contract Tony Romo signed, I guarantee that's going to come back to haunt the Cowboys very soon.

Looking at the start of the Cowboys season the Cowboys very easily could start 0-4. They open up the season at home against the 49ers, a team with something to prove. They then play two road games against the Titans and then the up and coming Rams. Dallas then returns to Jerry World for Sunday Night Football to play the Saints, one of the many teams that exposed Dallas's terrible defense last season. Without Lee, Hatcher and Ware this defense hasn't improved enough to be in the top half of the league. I predict the Boys will be 1-3 after these 4 games.

And in week 6 the Cowboys will be traveling to Seattle and will be absolutely demolished by the Seahawks unless they still have some Super Bowl hangover. If that's the case then Seattle will only win by 21 points.

As a lifelong fan of the Cowboys, I can't wait until this team has new ownership. Jerry haven't you destroyed the NFL's once greatest franchise enough yet? I don't have any realistic hope that Jones will ever sell the team, why because he know no one will care about his opinion. He loves the spotlight and won't give that up for any thing. Real Dallas Cowboys will continue to suffer because of his pride.
