(Finished September 3rd, 2018) themusicaddict's Review of Pink at Vivint Smart Home Arena May 9, 2018

Hello,

To see the videos for this show, please review my recent Pink concert preview setlist. I've posted some of the highlights below. Shortly after an unnecessary DJ set by KidCutUp, Pink, her band and dancers took the stage. She put on a great show, but it was nowhere close to perfect. Her voice was strong through the night, although she told us the elevation did cause her problems. But I would have never noticed. Pink is in exquisite shape which is the only way she could have got through her 100 aerobic set that is a Pink concert.

However as some of the videos below the sound could be muddy, although the live sound is much better at the actual show. Both "Just Like A Pill" and "Who Knew" were too bass heavy, the bass obliterated the great song that is "Just Like A Pill".

These aren't complaints, just questions. Does Pink's shows really need dancers and all the aerial acrobatics. The acrobatics are cool the first few times and Pink is fearless, I just hope that doesn't catch up with her. However the best aerial acrobatics of the night was during "So What", when she flew far and around into the audience. Everyone was able to see her much closer.

Before the show officially started a speaker rattling version of Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again" was played. That was all the opener Pink needed on this night. A couple of moments after that song ended the show began with the dropping of the curtain.

Yes, I would suggest you go check out Pink, if you can catch her live, I would give her concert a solid B grade. I hope to work more on this blog later.

The show started off with a huge chandelier like device coming from the top of the stage, one of the many things that Pink hung on throughout the night. 1) "Get The Party Started":

This is a great song, but even is better live. 2) "Beautiful Trauma":

3) "Just Like A Pill":
4) "Who Knew":

A giant Eminem balloon rapped the rap part, that was a nice touch. Then Pink and her acrobatics kicked the balloon Eminem's butt. 5) "Revenge":

6) "Fun House/ Just A Girl":

7) "Smells Like Teen Spirit":

8) "Secrets":

9) "Try":

A video of Nate Reuss singing on a very old school TV was her partner on this night. 10) "Just Give Me One Reason":

11) "I'm Not Dead":

I keep on forgetting she sings this song and I always wonder who sings it when I hear it. Pink sings it and she does so very ably. This is one of the highlights or her show. 12) "Just Like Fire":

The live version:

"Change Is Possible" video and 13) "What About Us":

14) "For Now" & 15) "Barbies":

16) "I Am Here":

17) "Perfect":

18) "Raise Your Glass":

19) "Blow Me (One Last Time):

20) "So What":

21) "Glitter In The Air":
