(Finished Jan 6th, 2019) themusicaddict's 1726 Best Songs of the 80s, Part 23 Songs 426-440, 1722-1726 The Best of 80's Broadway

Hello,

I had a great time listening to all of these amazing songs once again tonight.

426) From "Dream Girls", "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going":

427) From "Cats", "Memory":

I will not be sharing many videos from the 2012 "Les Mis" movie. Those great songs, for the most part, were destroyed by the movie. But despite the movie, you might quickly realize how much I love "Les Miserables":

428) "At The End of the Day":

This is one of the few exceptions of a good performance from the 2012 movie. 429) "I Dreamed A Dream":

430) "Who Am I":

Philip Quast's amazing version. 431) "Stars":

But I also like Norm Lewis' version of "Stars":

The scenes were so good, again the singing was atrocious though. However the singing was great in  this scene. 432) "Do You Hear The People Sing?":

433) "One Day More":

From the 1985 Original Broadway Soundtrack, the soundtrack where I fell in love with "Les Mis". 434) "Red and Black":

435) "Master of the House":

1722) Samantha Barks "On My Own":

1723) Samantha Barks and Eddie Redmayne "A Little Fall of Rain":

1724) "The Confrontation":

1725) "Runaway Cart":

The movie version of "Phantom" was much better than the "Les Mis" film. Emmy Rossum was a revelation. From "Phantom of the Opera":

436) "Think of Me":

437) "Angel of Music":

438) "The Phantom of the Opera":

439) "Music of the Night":

440) "All I Ask of You":

1726) "Masquerade":
