(Finished September 22nd, 2019) The Best of Female Country Singers in 1980, Part 2

Hello,

This series of blogs is inspired by Carrie Underwood covering the songs of Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, The Judds, Shania Twain and others. Ironically I'm started in 1970, where the majority of the top songs were sung by men. Even many of the songs sung by women were in a duet- yes with another man. There weren't any duets or trios like Maddie and Tae or Runaway June breaking big then. I tried my best, but some songs were listed in multiple years on various lists I was researching. I apologize for any mistakes, all blame goes to me.

13) Loretta Lynn "Cheatin On A Cheater":

14) Roseanne Cash "Couldn't Do Nothin' Right":

15) Crystal Gayle "Your Old Cold Shoulder":

16) Sylvia "Tumbleweed":

17)  Billie Jo Spears "Rainy Days and Stormy Nights":

18) The Kendalls "You'd Make An Angel Wanna Cheat":

19) Lacy J. Dalton "Hard Times":

20) Juice Newton "Sunshine":

21) Terri Gibbs "Somebody's Knockin'":

22) Janie Fricke "Down To My Last Broken Heart":

23) Charly McClain "Who's Cheatin' Who":

24) Charly McClain "Men":

25) Gail Davies "I'll Be There (If You Ever Want Me)":
