(Finished October 6th, 2022) Part 3 of The Sexy, Sultry and Talented Ladies of the 80s

Hello,

I got my haircut today and as I was leaving Great Clips a Sade song was playing. That took me back to the 80s and thinking about all those super sexy and super talented ladies of the 80s. I will be posting a few blogs featuring Samantha Fox, Sade, Madonna, Sheena Easton, The Bangles, Tina Turner, Pat Benatar, Whitney Houston and possibly others.

Sheena Easton is a Scottish beauty that scored many hits in the 80s. She's a two time grammy winner, including winning 1982's Best New Artist. Her first two songs peaked in the Top Ten. Those songs are "9 to 5" and "Modern Girl" Those are both good songs, but I don't think either would be in her Top Ten best songs.

35) "Swear":

36) "The Lover In Me":

featuring Prince 37) "Arms of Orion":

38) "Modern Girl":

39) "One Man Woman":

featuring Kenny Rogers 40) "We've Got Tonight":

41) "Telefone (Long Distance Love Affair)":

These next 12 songs are by Heart. Although surrounded by several talented musicians let's not kid ourselves who Heart is. Heart is Ann and Nancy Wilson. Ann is the powerhouse vocalist and Nancy is the very talented guitarist. Heart formed in 1967 in Seattle. After having many names they finally settled on Heart in 1973. Ann and Nancy didn't actually join the band until the mid 70s. Heart had their first big era in the 70s and then had a big comeback in the 80s. Heart is still rocking out to this day. (Thanks to Wikipedia for the biographical information.)
