Free new NIN music

Hello friends,

We are about a hour away from finding out that Brooke White is going home. No I don't know that for sure, that is just my prediction. According to dialidol.com the only for sure safe contestant is the man David Cook. All other 5 contestants have a chance to be eliminated, dialidol.com has some sort of methodology to figure this out. If you would like to know more, go to their site.

(If you don't know what NIN refers to, you can skip the next paragraph.) The band NIN/Trent Reznor mastered their song on Monday and released it free yesterday online. The name of the song is "Discipline" and you can download it now at www.theninhotline.net/news/index.php. There is also an announcement on May 5th, NIN fansites are predicting that NIN will be releasing their new CD that day. NIN has already joined the trend of publishing their own music with their new "Ghosts 1-4(Other bands that self released their own music include The Eagles, The Raconteurs and Radiohead.)If you don't know what "Ghosts" is, it is 36 instrumental tracks by NIN. You can download 9 free tracks from their website. Anyway of course I downloaded the free new track. It is good but not great. I don't think NIN/Trent Reznor will ever match the greatness of their first CD "Pretty Hate Machine". If you don't have that CD, go out and buy it now. It is definitely one of the Top 100 CD's of all time.

Also a plug for a song that I don't understand why it wasn't a big hit when it originally released. The name of the song is ""The Weakness In Me" by Joan Armatrading. I only know of this song because it was featured in the movie "Ten Things I Hate About You". In fact that is also a pretty good soundtrack.
ciao and more coming later themusicaddict
