Hello,
I had the misfortune of watching the pathetic Dallas Cowboys choke in Minnesota. I didn't have the stomach to watch the whole game, but the part I watched Tony Romo had 4 turnovers. I'd thought Romo was past the turnover phase of his career but obviously not. Romo continues to choke in the playoffs in a big way. He's a great player in the regular season, but folds in the playoffs. It's time to use a draft pick and get a real quarterback, Romo can be the backup until his contract runs out.
Then other than watching, what the hell was Wade Phillips doing on the sideline? As a head coach he's worthless and needs to be fired. He won't be and according to espn.com he may be coaching Dallas for two more years. How much mediocrity does this man need to be responsible for before he's fired? Why does owner Jerry Jones keep Phillips? Is it because he's a great head coach? No! I honestly believe that it's due to Phillips not getting in the way of Jerry Jones acting like the General Manager. He's the favorite type of employee in corporate America, a "yes" man. He's definitely not keeping his job because of his great coaching ability. Again I would love to have him as the defensive coordinator but he has no ability asa head coach. I think his 1-5 playoff record speaks to that. As Bill Parcells says "you are what you're record says you are."
Tony Romo needs to go away as well, as does their choking kicker. Also why did Jason Garrett keep on calling that delayed hand off, that play was terrible in every way. I'm very disappointed in my Cowboys and their level of play. Their offense were over matched all day and I'm not sure they even showed up mentally. They must have off season plans to get to. They played a good team in Minnesota, but Dallas shot themselves in the foot as well.
Thank you Jason Witten, Felix Jones and the offensive line for actually showing up. Final score Minnesota 34, Dallas 3.
