The Feel Good Super Bowl :))))

Hello,

This is shaping up to be the feel good Super Bowl. First and foremost New Orleans, a city that was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina just a few years ago is going to their first Super Bowl. I think most Americans will rally behind the Saints, because of the city they play in. President Obama has already tossed his hat in with the Saints. It's nothing against the Colts, a very well run organization. They probably have one of the most respected players in the NFL right now, Peyton Manning.

There is also the quarterback most associated with that city, Archie Manning, his son plays for the Colts. Archie Manning has gone on record saying he would be cheering for his son. But this is the hometown team of Peyton Manning and that will limit the trash talk. Not that Peyton is much of a trash talker.

The Colts big stud wide receiver on Sunday, Pierre Garcon had a record breaking day. He also is a Haitian-American. That hopefully means the two week lead up to Super Bowl 44 will be more about Haiti and less about the self-indulgent, self-congratulatory mess the NFL usually makes it.

Also the Saints have one of the most exciting college football players ever in Reggie Bush. He also is a very fine NFL player.

themusicaddict's early prediction: The Saints win in a shootout. Las Vegas better raise the current over/under they have.

Congrats to the BYU's men's basketball for moving to 20-1 and winning 15 in a row. Also in the latest rankings they move to the 10th position in the nation. The Cougs play a very tough 18-3 New Mexico Lobo team in the Pit on Wednesday. That's a big game for both teams. Go Cougs!
