Due to certain things going on in the sports world of late, here are some real sports definitions. Also as this a music blog I will attach a proper song with the definitions I can think of.
Ultimatum: "a final, uncompromising demand or set of terms issued by aparty to a dispute, the rejection of which may lead to aseverance of relations or to the use of force." (Thanks to dictionary.com.)
Waffling: See David Stern This is the best I could do for this:
Cowardice: Starting with Penn State University President Graham Spanier, Joe Paterno and many others for not stopping the actions of one sick individual.
Even my iPod had an opinion about the sadness and tragedy of things going on in State College, Pennslyvania. This is the first two songs my iPod played this morning.
This is something Joe Paterno, et. al couldn't even claim. Although the song does fit.
Regarding the shockingly little amount of what went on to stop this creep at Penn State:
Ridiculous student protests: Protesting an university for firing a coach who didn't act on information about child molestation from 9 years ago. Students use to protest over Vietnam, Civil Rights and other things of conscience. This is a song about some legitimate student protests and the cost of those protests.
Collusion: see above.
Bullcrap: BCS
Mediocrity: The Dallas Cowboys under the last 15 years of Jerry Jones ownership.
With Veteran's Day being tomorrow, I want to get this in early. Hero: anyone who has fought for his country or anyone who has ever served in any function for any arm of the military. Thanks to all you veterans!
