Idiot Jerry Jones Needs To Go!

Hello,

I'm sorry for repeatedly writing about the sorry state of the Dallas Cowboys and the idiot ownership of Idiot Jerry. However I want to use my nearly non-existant influence to urge real, significant changes in the Cowboys. The Idiot Jerry ownership groups has been nearly as cancerous as the Frank McCourt ownership group in LA.

I've spent too much time at ESPNDallas today. I like to read the articles that are posted there. It's people that are as passionate about the Cowboys as I am. Although with how mediocre the Cowboys have been the last 15 years, I've lost a lot of that passion. It's hard to get behind a team that has been bad for so long, but yet refuses to make significant changes. I like to read other people are venting, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks Dallas' main problem is Jerry Jones.

I found out some interesting things while reading ESPNDallas and listening to parts of the Ben and Skin show. I especially liked Ben and Skin's interview with ESPN's Ed Werder this past Thursday. Werder gave some very insightful information. According to Werder, 15 of the 19 Cowboys turnovers this season can be blamed at least somewhat on Tony Romo. Werder also said ratings in the Dallas area for Cowboys games are down 20%. To which I say thank goodness. I hope the ratings continue to drop and people stop going to Cowboys home games. Jones idiotic decisions are destroying the Cowboys. The only thing that will force him to change is for him to start losing money.

Dallas' next home game is against the Cleveland Browns, please Cowboys fans don't show up. Dallas needs to make a change now. Let's also not buy Cowboys merchandise or anything else that financially supports the Cowboys culture of mediocrity.

I also listened to Ben and Skin's interview with former Cowboys great Darren Woodson. They asked Woodson if the Cowboys problems start at the top. Woodson bypassing the question speaks volumes. Yes, Jerry the consensus is growing that you are the problem. Please step down as GM immediately. Please don't have your son be the new GM either,  get someone who knows football.

Ben and Skin also pointed out a stat that Tony Romo has only thrown the ball away 3 times this season. The league's better quarterbacks, Tom Brady and Drew Brees, have thrown the ball away several times more. So what you ask. That stat shows that Romo's mindset is to be Favresque and to try and make a play even if you have to force it. And with Romo leading the league in interceptions, a lot of time it's best to throw the ball away and live to fight another play. Romo at 32 should be experienced enough to know better, especially since he's a slightly above average quarterback.

Ed Werder and Ben and Skin were even talking about some of his drafting miscues. For instance, drafting Julius Jones over Steven Jackson. Even the greatest GM is going to miss some picks. But this miss on Jackson seems to be especially egregious. Jackson has been a solid player for his career, whereas I don't even remember Julius Jones. Does that tell you how little of an impact he made on me?

Just a quick comparison between Jones and Jackson. Jones rushed for 5,068 yards and had slightly over 1,000 receiving yards in his career. He also scored 24 career touchdowns but hasn't been in the NFL since 2011. Meanwhile Jackson has 9,473 rushing and 3,079 receiving yards. He's scored a total of 64 touchdowns and is still playing in the NFL.

Idiot Jerry says that Dallas has to play a near perfect game to be able to beat the Falcons this week. That is true, but I wish someone would introduce him to reality. Not only will the Cowboys lose, but I wouldn't be surprised if they get blown out. Also Idiot Jerry keeps on saying how the Cowboys have won 3 Super Bowls while he has been the owner. Yes, that's true and thanks for that Jerry. But what Jerry doesn't say is that those Super Bowls are mostly the work of the great Jimmy Johnson. If you don't believe that, then why have the Cowboys been so terrible since Johnson left? Yes Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl as a head coach, but that was mainly with the Johnson's players Johnson. Without Johnson's great work the Cowboys might be equivalent to the Browns now.

The only stat Romo leads the NFL in is interceptions and bonehead plays. After Dallas loses Sunday night, the Cowboys will be 4-9 over their last 13 games. After the game Idiot Jerry will still support Garrett. The Cowboys have lost 7 straight games on Sunday nights. What does that tell you about the heart and toughness of this team? When the light shines the brightest, the Cowboys play their worst.

In fact "The Walking Dead" will be on two channels Sunday night. You can watch this season's best show "The Walking Dead" on AMC. Or you can watch the Cowboys, aka the real walking dead, Sunday night on NBC.

As always when the Cowboys are playing so badly, inevitably the topic of whether the Cowboys are still America's team comes up. When Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless were debating this on "First Take" this morning, I initially said "no". However after thinking about it I'm not so sure. Because if the Cowboys aren't America's team, then who is? I can't think of another team that would even come close, can you? If anything I'd say that America doesn't even have a team.
