(Finished March 2nd, 2019) Walk The Moon and Muse in Salt Lake City on February 28th, 2019

Hello,

Muse and Walk The Moon rocked the Viv in Salt Lake City on February 28th, 2019.

Walk The Moon opened the night with a very energetic 40 minute set. Their set was highlighted by "Shut Up and Dance" and "Anna Sun", but all of their songs were great. Their music is so catchy that it made this old white man stand up and attempt to dance. One minor complaint I wish they would have played "I Can Lift A Car". But they were about about as good as an opener can be.

The lyrics of this song could be a bit awkward on a first date. Great lyrics, great video. "Shut Up and Dance":

"Anna Sun":

"I Can Lift A Car":

Muse played a tight 1 hour, 55 minute show here in Salt Lake on February 28th, 2019. Their setlist is below. Muse didn't spend a lot of time talking, they just played great song after great song. No complaints about them not talking more. I go for the music, not the talking. Not only songs, but many very cool videos played in the background behind them. The music was loud, but not to the point of being obnoxious. They also had- I'm not sure what the word them is- dancers? These dancer? added additional flair to the concert. (And if my use of the word "flair" made you think of "Office Space" you're welcome.)

I only have 3 regrets about this show. One that I don't know Muse's music better so that I could sing along more. If I had known their songs better, the concert would have been better. I really wish they would have played "Something Human" and "Resistance".

However all of that being said I would give this concert a grade of B+/ A-. If you like a great rock show then this is the concert for you.
