Why Not Both?

Hello,

There are rumors floating around that Christopher Nolan is considering the lovely Anne Hathaway and the lovely Keira Knightley to be cast in Batman 3. Here's my question, why not both?

Two of our current most lovely actresses. I would also suggest Natalie Portman, although she's pregnant. There's also the gorgeous Emily Blunt about to rock Matt Damon's world in "The Adjustment Bureau".

Speaking of lovely, how about those Cougars? BYU's basketball team blew out alleged rival Utah 104-79. Jimmer Fredette put on another scoring show, he scored 47 points. He hit 6 of 9 three pointers, including the half ending near half-court shot. The #10 Cougars were the #1 spots story on ESPN Sports Center this morning. Fredette's shot was #1 on plays of the day. This continues to be a truly once-in-a-generation basketball season for BYU. Coug fans enjoy while you can. Who knows when we'll have another season like this?

In the November 15th, 2010 issue, there's an article in there about the so called disaster known as the BCS. The article is written by Austin Murphy and Dan Wetzel. Murphy is SI's excellent long term college football writer. I can't find the right link, go to a local library and read it. It's great and it shows all about the greed and stupidity about the BCS. The BCS claims they are all about protecting the bowls. This article proves just how little they care about the game, and how their true aim is to make money.

Here are a couple of links, the first is a response by Murphy to many of the whiners about his article. The BCS remains an enemy to common sense and equity.

Here's another reaction to this excellent article.

After reading Murphy's excellent article and the two above links, anybody arguing for the BCS is one of two things. 1) they are extremely stupid 2) they are actually a member of the BCS

Dear BCS:

When your feifdom of delusion is overthrown, won't it be much better to acknowledge the greatness of the playoff system. The BCS reminds me of the Iraqi minister talking about how Iraq was going to overthrow America. That was when America was in Iraq and about to overthrow Saddam Hussein. How long can you defend an untenable position?

One final thing, I was driving to work this morning. I was listening to one of those Time-Life 80's CDs. I realized how everything goes better with 80's music, this song especially was rocking my commute this morning:

The above is a great song, but it also has traces of camp and the synth driven music of the 80's.

Another great 80's song to enjoy:
