(Finished August 21st, 2022) Part 4 of The Best Of Yacht Rock: Greatest Hits

Hello,

On these later Yacht Rock blogs I'll be posting the greatest hits of Yacht Rock. In other words songs that pretty much of a certain age will know. Pretty much all of these songs are classic.

Thanks to Wikipedia.org for this yacht rock definition:

Yacht rock (originally known as the West Coast sound or adult-oriented rock) is a broad music style and aesthetic commonly associated with soft rock, one of the most commercially successful genres from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Drawing on sources such as smooth soulsmooth jazz, R&B, and disco. Common stylistic traits include high-quality production, clean vocals, and a focus on light, catchy melodies. Its name, coined in 2005 by the makers of the online video series Yacht Rock, was derived from its association with the popular Southern Californian leisure activity of sailing.

I did the first one of these early January of this year. That was 20 Obscure Yacht Rock songs. I now have 6 blogs ready to go of the greatest Yacht Rock songs, this is Part 4 of Yacht Rock greatest hits.
