These are dark days to be a BYU fan, the nadir of this season so far happened tonight. BYU lost to a pathetic USU. No disrespect to the Aggies but honestly they suck and have for as long as I can remember. That should tell you how bad BYU is, losing to a barely 1A college football team.
What are BYU's problems? To be fair, there is a lot of inexperience all over the field for BYU and it shows. Jake Heaps may have a ton of potential, but he's playing like a freshman. Also injuries have played a big part in BYU's bad season as well. Other BYU problems when did BYU forget how to tackle. Also Heaps seems to be making good throws but his receivers can't catch the ball. Is this the worst receiving crew in BYU history? I hear a lot of good things about Luke Ashworth, but he has so many drops. Those are some of the individual problems which adds up to the fact that BYU is just not a good football team this year. Please Utah and TCU have mercy on the Cougars.
As sad of a game as this is for BYU, even sadder is this will be USU's football highlight of the year. Next week they will go back to getting pounded.
