"The Walking Dead": The TV Series and the Dallas Cowboys

Hello,

Episode 2 of "The Walking Dead" was tonight and it was another great episode. Every great show needs to have a great protagonist to truly be excellent. Well this show does, it's Rick Grimes. It will be interesting when he meets his wife presumably in the next episode, who's sleeping with his former deputy. Also just like a bad penny (or something like that) I have a feeling we'll see Merle Dixon again.

This is just a great, great series. I wish the books were at the library so I could read them.

Dallas is now 1-7 after losing to Green Bay 45-7. If Jones doesn't fire Wade Phillips now, what is it going to take? 12 men on the field, players not executing proper blocks putting their quarterbacks in harm's way repeatedly etc. All those things lead back to poor coaching. It's time to bring in a new head coach immeadiately. There's nobody on this staff qualified to be a head coach.

Possible replacements: Jason Garrett as head coach, he can't even coach the offense. John Fox, seriously what is up with repeatedly hiring these used up white middle age head coaches. Fox is the coach of the Carolina Panthers, they are 1-7 this season so far. I liked Chris Collinsworth's idea tonight. He suggested Dallas go out and get the Giants Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell. The only problem with him is the Dallas would have to wait until next season before they could have him. But Dallas could get Jon Gruden or Bill Cowher now. Hmm.

But if nothing else is done Phillips must be fired now. I want to wake up in the morning and hear that he has been fired.

This is a friend's book, "Wilderness" he's drawing attention to the book he has written. Check it out on facebook. Here's the link: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=304984697029 He describes the book as: "I've written a novel called “Wilderness” which I'm sending out to agents (think "Calvin and Hobbes" written by Neil Gaiman)" He also says "one who friends the group will not get any messages from me, they will just be helping a young aspiring novelist." I think that's a worthy cause.
