This book centers around a female detective, Nikki Heat, and the author that trails her, Jameson Rook. This book was okay, not the best book ever but also not the worst. Would I reccomend it? Yes I definitely would if you are a fan of the television show "Castle". Even though he's a fictional character, he allegedly writes these books. Actually the mystery of who writes these books might be more interesting than the actual books.
I do plan on reading the next book, "Naked Heat". I have it on hold at the library.
